Donal Campbell was born in Cork and grew up in Dublin. He learned traditional fiddle playing, especially from Sliabh Luachra (Kerry) and Sligo, from his father. He has played with musicians such as Johnny Moynihan, Johnny Keenan, Paul Kelly and Ciaran Creehan and he has been in broadcastes from RTE and Radio na Gaeltachta. In Germany he has become known through the bands Flap and Friels Kitchen, as well as being a tutor in numerous workshops.
Sean Walsh is a well known accordion player, all-Ireland C.C.E. winner and music teacher in the Schull/Baltimore area. He trained and now leads the local C.C.E. band.
Jackie Small is also a well-known accordion player and very active in the traditional music scene in Germany. An archivist, broadcaster and editor, he is on the team of the Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin.
Ekhart Topp (from e.g. Whisht!, Tunefish, Trio Topp) is an independant musician and teacher from Frankfurt am Main. He has given guitar tuition for over 15 years, and organised music workshops for children, youths, and adults. His main interests are folk, blues und jazz. He has become well known in the Irish folk scene in Germany as a "Topp"-guitarist.
